The comments after the article feature a great entry by Danny Fields and a lot of other stuff that is somewhat "inappropriate" under the circumstances. The human condition is not pleasant.
These I-94 BAR tributes are more in keeping with the positive rememberance.

His assistant was one of the ringleaders? What the hell...? Vultures is right, L. Man...hopefully Iggy didn't have anything to do with this. Wonder how Scott is doing...
talk about innapropriate reporting - how long before someone pops round to steal the guitars, guns and other stuff ?
I believe that his gear has now been secured but who knows...
I think it unwise to talk about "vultures" without really knowing the facts. For all we know, they had permission to remove items for safekeeping.
In retrospect that's true. We don't know but somebody somewhere does. There could well be more to this than meets the eye. My initial feeling based on the "report" was to be reactionary but the Joe Friday approach would be preferable. Just the facts.
