Gorilla Garage is the title of a new Jesse Hector CD anthology on the RPM label. Haven't seen a copy yet, but the tracklistin' and RPM's general high standards in packagin' makes this one a must have anyways... If you're unfamiliar with this stuff, be prepared to be blown away into some previously unimagined distance...

Hi Jeroen,

This brings me back a few years ago, when I saw the (Hammersmith) Gorillas rehearsal at the Open Market (record shop), it was Dec. 2, 1976 (yuk !) - before they opened for the Flamin' Groovies at the Pavillon de Paris.

Whoa dad! How I wish I had some Dr. Who-like phone booth to transport me back to that day so I could witness some real history. You're a lucky guy Patrick, to have been there...
Wasn't Open Market the HQ for the Skydog label?

Yep Jeroen,
The Open Market was Skydog headquaters, rue des Lombards, near Les Halles in Paris;
Every record they sell was worth buying, this shop was incredible.
