Spend some time at the Boijmans Van Beuningen museum in Rotterdam today, and was absolutely floored by the work of Olafur Eliasson. The basic collection is very much worth your while, but Eliasson's water 'n light projections really stood out. Unexpected beauty...

Olafur Eliasson is truly one of the greatest artists one can see today. I just saw today a installation by his at Magasin 3 in Stockholm, but nothing can compare with the weather project at Tate Modern some 2 years ago. Along with Anish Kapoor's installation at the mentioned museum the most overwhelming art experiences I've ever made. Check http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/kapoor/

By the way Jeroen, you should come to Stockholm and see the art exhibition Dutch Golden Age at Nationalmuseum. I'm responsible for the design for that one. Joakim (also Nomads drummer)

Joakim,

A trip to Stockholm and the Nationalmuseum is high on my priority list. But things are way too busy over here to catch the Dutch expo. Hopefully somewhere in 2006 I can combine a Nomads show and a visit to the museum. It's been a year since I last hooked up with you guys, and I could seriuously use another dose of Swedish brand R'n'R...
Thanks for the Kapoor tip-off as well. Those picks look amazin'...
Heck, two trips to the Tate Modren this year, and nothing in the engine room as impressive as that...

Hope all is well on your end,

Best,

J
