Lindsay, Long time, no....... Found a cassette from long ago. I think it's Simple Minds' demo and I think that you gave it to me. Also found with it, a cassette marked "SM Live in Grangemouth 11&12/1998" and "The Next Big Thing Presents" Simple Minds and The Cramps. Great stuff, I'm listening to them today. There are post-70s Minds' fans around me, they are not only unaware of the early stuff but can't relate to it, either. Says more about the Minds than them. I'm not totally out of it - I'm playing with a refurbished version of the Planets (middle-aged punk)and we did a CBGB's "last weeks" show a few weeks ago. I play in a roots-rock band called Run Devil Run as well, bars & small clubs. Where are you living now? Regards, Rich Teeter
