The comments after the article feature a great entry by Danny Fields and a lot of other stuff that is somewhat "inappropriate" under the circumstances. The human condition is not pleasant.
These I-94 BAR tributes are more in keeping with the positive rememberance.

ReplyDeleteI think it unwise to talk about "vultures" without really knowing the facts. For all we know, they had permission to remove items for safekeeping.
ReplyDeleteIn retrospect that's true. We don't know but somebody somewhere does. There could well be more to this than meets the eye. My initial feeling based on the "report" was to be reactionary but the Joe Friday approach would be preferable. Just the facts.
