Only halfway in Tosches' latest tome, but I just can't wait to tell you that this is yet another amazing book. Can this man ever do wrong? Not since my late-teens when I devoured the works of Celine have I been this infatuated by a writer. The language, the obvious insane amount of research involved, the hair-raising tales, plots beyond belief but steeped in reality. Heck, I've reached the point where I actually wanna read his (in-need-of-funds) Hall & Oates bio. Anybody got a copy for sale or trade?

"Good money" is what it is. Our Amsterdam correspondent Sander Bink, who makes a living selling rare books, put the Hall & Oates book in some kinda collectable books search engine with the below results. I'm pretty sure it's not the H&O fans who are responsible for these prices...

I found his first (?) fiction book Cut Numbers at the Rotterdam flea market some years ago for 2 or 3 guilders. Great book, better than In The Hand Of Dante if you ask me (insert smart answer here: no, I didn't ask you!). You've probably got that book already, but if not, let me know!

Thanks for the offer Nick, it's well appreciated, but I'll keep an eye out on eBay for an original...

And Niels; yeah Cut Numbers is a solid read as well. Apperantly, that one and Trinities use a lot of material (as fiction) that Tosches wasn't allowed to use in Power On Earth (as fact) due to various legal reasons.

And while we're on the subject, is anybody out there aware of other Tosches penned sleeve-notes besides Hasil Adkins' Moon Over Madison and Peanut Butter Rock and Roll, Emmett Miller's The Minstrel Man From Georgia and the Charlie Feathers set on Revenant?
