The great MOSE ALLISON will appear on UK TV screens this coming Friday (20th May) on the BBC's "Later". Trust me, it's worth putting up with Jools Holland for this OK?

allegedly the Fall only appear on "later with Jools" (broadcast next week) because the contract stated that he wouldnt play piano with em

although he is the guy that plays on Wayne Countys "if you dont wanna ...." so he's got some cool points in my book

Credit where it's due:

Holland also plays on on the first Count Bishops LP and some stuff by Alternative TV. There's some hilarious footage in one of those early punk-rock documentaries where a rastafarian is trying to teach ATV the basics of reggae, at which they continuously fail, with only Holland getting the hang of it...

I didn't comment on his playing ability but he's such a smug little oik. His invasive, self-promotional to the point of rude style of presentation really gives me the boke.
