Almost two years after the genius 'Time Bomb High School' LP we finally get the Reigning Sound's follow-up disc. "Was it worth the wait?" you axe, bet y'r fat behind baby!, 'cause this is one fine wailin' set that delivers the goods in no uncertain terms. These guys are connected to the same energy source that fueled those legendary Memphis 45s on Sun 'n Stax, and like all great bands they take in all the right influences to create a sound that is strictly their own. Fuck the "ex-Oblivians" tag, the Reigning Sound by now deserve equal rankin'.
