The Peel Tribute was a little disappointing. I know that it's all a bit raw and there wasn't much time but I felt it deserved a little more effort. I'm sure it'll be re-addressed at some point when the fact that he's not around really sinks in.
Yeah, it was okay but could have been better. Good to see John Walters getting some credit though. I've not seen enough mentions of him in the last 10 days for my liking. They could have re-broadcast the "Arena" BBC 2 programme from around 1980 too - that was terrific. Peel's story of seeing Emerson Lake and Palmer with Walters and after a few minutes JP turning to Walters to say "It's all gone terribly, terribly wrong" - an all time classic!
